Santa's house in Poway is always a fun stop at Christmas. This family is amazing with how much Christmas spirit they bring to everyone every year. The whole house is decked out, every room, garage and the back yard. Santa and Mrs. Claus greet everyone and give them a toy as well! It's a perfect way to bring on the Christmas spirit.
Carson had a band concert where they played some awesome jiggles for us. He and his buddies did a great job. I'm so glad that Poway Unified makes music a priority because there are a lot of school's that do not have band/orchestra anymore.
Hudson's class sang a Christmas Macarena infront of the whole school. (Hud is wearing the red shirt just to the left of the podium)
John and Kim announced they are expecting a baby in early July!!! YAY bring on the cousins!
Hudson did a soccer camp with some friends and loved it! This was the last day of camp, Chritmas Eve! It was about 85 degrees outside. LOVE CALIFORNIA!We walked around one of the best neighborhoods in Poway. Everyone walks around the many streets to see house after house fully lit up with Christmas lights and people hand out hot chocolate and cookies. This was a Santa Claus that we saw walking around looking at the lights. I run up to him and asked if the boys could have a picture with him. Isn't that what kids do when they see Santa? He seems a little confused agreed to the picture. It was pretty funny. Maybe it was one of those things where you had to be there.
Christmas Eve at Summer's house with Grandpa Jay and Grandma Jonelley.
Jonelle brought her bells and we were a musical family making some amazing music together! Of course Uncle Rob and Jackson were goofing off a little.
Sticking to our Dutch heritage and putting carrots in the wooden shoes for Rudolph and his friends.
We were able to skype with Elder Trenton Jones on Christmas day. He seems to be loving the work and had so much to tell us.
Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Steve's house.
Carson played Jingle Bells for us on the Trumpet. We were pretty proud of him for his performance.
New Year's Eve with the neighborhood NYE time. It was FREEZING. We had a total cold spell out of nowhere. It was 35 degrees and Liam was still in sandals and shorts. I on the other hand hand had long johns under my jeans.
Then we stayed up to the real midnight and made Pizza's with Grami. Jackson just might get a job making Costco Pizza's someday.
