Carson's 5th grade class went to JA Biz town. It was quite the experience. They spend weeks working in class learning about businesses, bank accounts, budgets, etc. Then the big day came, and I was lucky enough to get to join them, to do "work" and put it all into action. Carson worked at State Farm insurance. He had to run around to all of the businesses (Sea World, Jack in the Box, Airport, plumbing co, Kaiser Permanente etc) and evaluate everything. He was running around working hard to get all of his work done. It was a pretty impressive place. I can't wait for the other boys to have their turn at JA Biz town.
Jackson had his first Rain Rutter Regatta.
Check out his awesome Scout Master in full uniform.
