Trip to Phoenix and Sedona

We took a trip to Phoenix and Sedona this past weekend.  We were able to cram in a lot of fun in over the long weekend. 

 

We got to visit with Papa Bob and hear some of his stories as a young man in the Military.  The boys had a lot of fun playing with Dad's cousin Ivy too. 

 

 Carson has baseball tryouts for the travel ball team that he really wants to be on right when we get back from our trip.  So off we went to the fields in 104 degree weather to get some practice in.

We found out it was free food day at Chick fil a so we hurried and made some spots to tape on. This was JB's first time dressing up for the event!

We made it to Chase Field for a Dbacks game.  Of course we have a bunch of Diamondbacks gear since it was Jackson's little league team this year.  Being an indoor stadium was for sure different along with the hotdogs for only $1.50!  I told the boys that we did baseball for them, so we get to go to Last Chance (Nordstrom clearance store) for me. Of course they all though it was a lame idea until they each found a pair of shoes (Rowan style) that they had to have.
