Jackson is 6

Jackson turned 6 this year!!  He helped me make a baseball cake and picked out a pinata for the party.  He woke up to a few presents to start the day. After school he invited a few friends to celebrate with him at the batting cages.  Jackson loves baseball so it was the perfect party for him.  When we finished batting, we were getting the pinata ready. The kids were playing on the park equipment. One of the little boys picked up a boulder rock, like a bowling ball, and threw it on the table right onto Carson's hand. Carson screamed like he has never screamed before.  We knew right away that it wasn't good.  For the 3rd time this week, we had to make a trip to the E.R.  JB took Carson while the party continued. The boys hit the pinata and broke it open pretty quickly.  We had cake and played for a while and wrapped it up.

We headed over to Grami's for some Outback for dinner and continued to celebrate.  Carson and JB showed up with the news that his right index finger had been broken and Carson would have to wear a splint for a few weeks.  Carson was pretty upset because it is the end of the baseball season and his team has been doing really well.  Carson has been playing very well this year and is going to have to sit out for a while.
