We road tripped up to Grandpa Jones house and had a huge sports weekend. Noriko hooked us up with a private box to see WWE wrestling match. It was fun for about 5 minutes. We couldn't believe how many people pay crazy money to go to these things. It was fun hanging out with Noriko, Nori and Kengo so it was worth it. We hit up Harry's Hofbrau with Grandpa (Carson's favorite), Hunan, and Noriko made us Japanese dinner. Home rolled sushi, delish.
We were true A's fans waiting in line for fan fest in the cold wind and RAIN! We scored all sorts of free stuff, saw Coco (Carson shook his hand!), Sogaurd, and a bunch of other players. Successful fan fest day.
You can't go to the bay area during basketball season and not see the Warriors, so we found tickets online and went to the Warrior's 76ers game. Hudson was so excited to see Steph Curry and wear his new jersey. So excited that he fell asleep in the first quarter of the game. I guess he is a little like his mom in movies!
Before the game, we were super early, so we headed into the Walmart across the street from the Oracle. WOW that place was wild. People everywhere buying all sorts of food. Gangster signs being flashed everywhere. It was the craziest place ever. We quickly got out of there as fast as we could. Of course we spent about $20 on treats and as we walked into the game, they confiscated all of it! Bummer. It was bobble head night so that was exciting until my bobble head was stolen while we took a family picture.
It was a really fun trip. It did have me thinking I might just need a daughter so we can have some girlie vacations mixed in with all these sports trips!
