dixie

We have a new pet.  Dixie has joined our family.  When Chelsea came to visit and help me with boys camp, we went to the pet store. Chelsea really liked on of the rats at the store when we were looking at the hamsters.  JB said to Chels, "if you get the rat, we will take your hamster, Dixie."  Chelsea quickly said yes and suddenly we were out of the store with a rat and a cage.  JB wanted Chelsea's hamster because we know it is a nice friendly one that doesn't bite.  So, now Hudson is in love with Dixie.  Every morning at about 7 AM Hudson comes into our room with Dixie in his hands.  I am scared that one of these days, Hudson will put Dixie down and she will get lost.  Hopefully that won't happen. But it won't be the first time. I lost my fair share of Hamsters when I was a kid.  Anyway, Dixie has been getting a lot of love and attention since she has been at our house.
