leaves and a continuous sick bug!

We have two big trees in our front yard that have been dropping millions of leaves all over our front yard. Jackson and I started raking them up with the neighbors rake but the next day there were so many more leaves on the ground that you couldn't tell that we raked them up. So we went the store to get another rake. On the way home we were talking about doing service for our neighbor who is pregnant and said we would rake her leaves for her. We were so excited to rake up our leaves to jump into because the pile was going to be GIANT! As we drove up our street and into our drive way we saw that our leaves were GONE!!! Someone had got rid of our leaves for us! It was nice to have them gone since we had been tracking them into our house and cars but we were sad to not have them to jump into! I guess we will have to wait til next year to jump into the leaves!

Ever since Thanksgiving someone has been sick at our house! Hudson had strep throat right before Christmas so we got him on antibiotic and cleared up quickly. A few days after him being better we were at church when Hudson woke up in JB's arms and threw up ALL OVER the place. Jb took him home. When the rest of us got home from church Jackson was talking to Hud on the stairs and there it happened, Hud barfed some more straight onto Jackson's face and into his mouth! Then later he barfed all over my lap. He got all of us except for Carson. Before we knew it, JB had the bug, then I did, then Jackson and onto Carson. It was a 12 hour bug so at least it was just one day per person.

Just when we thought we were all healthy and smooth sailing Carson spiked a fever just below 105. We took him into the ER where they did blood tests, xrays, and urine tests. Found nothing and sent us home after 4 1/2 hours of being there. We went back into the Dr. 2 more times before his fever finally went down. He missed the whole week of school and took almost a week to get his energy back. Of course Jackson caught the bug and had a fever for 5 days. Now we are fever free but we are wondering if Hudson will come down with it right in time for Christmas! I HOPE NOT!
