first grade

Carson started school this week! He is a first grader at Highland Ranch. He woke up bright and early, got ready and we headed out to school with the whole family. The best part of walking to school is that we are only a few minutes walk from the school. Jackson was just as excited for Carson as Carson was. He was sad to not be in his best buddy's class, but he is quickly making new friends. Carson was extra excited because he gets his own desk this year! He has Miss Harris and he said she is just like Mrs. Koske (his kindergarten teacher who he loved). After school he was ready to start playing with his friends and didn't have much time to tell me too much about his day. It's been a good start to first grade.
